Our Liquid Household Castile Soap is a concentrated, unscented liquid soap formulated specifically for household cleaning, laundry and dishwashing. Made using an olive oil blend, it provides a versatile alternative to using multiple household cleaning products.
Fragrance-free and biodegradable, this all-purpose household soap is available in 1 litre and 5 litre sizes.
What is Household Castile Soap?
Castile soap traditionally refers to an olive oil soap originating from the Castile region of Spain. Our Liquid Household Castile Soap is formulated specifically for household cleaning, laundry and dishwashing, rather than personal washing.
For hand and body washing, choose our Pure Liquid Castile Soap, which is made using 100% extra virgin olive oil.
What Can Liquid Household Castile Soap Be Used For?
Machine laundry: Use as a liquid laundry soap for washing clothes in a washing machine.
Hand washing laundry: Dilute in water for washing clothes and other suitable washable fabrics by hand.
General household cleaning: Dilute with water in a spray bottle to make a versatile cleaner for suitable washable household surfaces.
Dishwasher: Use a small quantity in the dishwasher together with dishwasher salt where required and white vinegar as an optional final rinse aid.
Plant bug spray: The soap can also be diluted with water and sprayed onto plants as a simple soap-based bug spray.
Directions for Use
Laundry – Washing Machine: Use 75–100ml (approximately 5–7 tablespoons) per wash. White vinegar can be added to the fabric softener drawer as a final rinse aid. Adjust the amount as needed for larger washing machines.
Laundry – Hand Wash: Use 1 tablespoon per litre of water. White vinegar can be added to the final rinse water as a rinse aid.
Household Cleaner: Mix 5 tablespoons with 500ml water in a spray bottle and shake gently to mix. Spray onto the surface and wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Dishwasher: Use 1–2 tablespoons per dishwasher load. Use dishwasher salt where required by your machine and white vinegar as an optional final rinse aid.
Plant Bug Spray: Mix 1–2 tablespoons per litre of water in a spray bottle. Spray plants thoroughly, including the stems and undersides of the leaves.
The soap is concentrated and has a naturally pourable consistency. It may turn cloudy during colder weather without affecting the product.

Natural Spring Water, Olive Oil Blend, Distilled Water, Caustic Potash, Caustic Soda, Borax (Sodium Tetraborate).
Important: This product is formulated for household use and is not intended for body washing, hand washing or use on pets.
