Shea Butter

Shea butter is extracted from shea tree nuts. It’s a deeply moisturising, rich emollient butter which has been proven to have extensive anti-inflammatory properties. Shea butter’s fatty acid composition and especially vitamin K and E concentration also helps compromised skin heal faster. Shea butter has high levels of oleic, linoleic, and stearic acids which aid as effective ingredients to combating oxidative stress.

It is reputed to help heal scars and help prevent stretch marks during and after pregnancy, plus aid with skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis.

Our shea butter is  sourced responsibly from Ghana.  Please note that people with latex or nut allergies may be sensitive to shea butter.
