Milk & Honey is a natural shampoo soap bar formulated for dry and damaged hair. Made with organic coconut milk, raw honey, free-range ostrich oil and egg yolk, together with coconut, canola and castor oils, it produces a generous lather for cleansing the hair and scalp.
Scented with lemongrass, ylang ylang and ginger essential oils, the formulation also contains a blend of rose hip leaves, St John’s Wort, calendula flowers and horsetail leaves. It can be used on both low- and high-porosity hair and is also suitable for washing facial hair.
Unlike a solid shampoo made with synthetic surfactants or detergents, this is a traditional soap-based shampoo bar. It contains no synthetic detergents or surfactants.
How to Use a Shampoo Soap Bar
Wet the hair completely with warm water. Rub the shampoo soap bar directly over the wet hair and scalp, adding more water as required to build a generous lather. Massage the lather through the hair and scalp, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm to cold water.
For best results, follow with a diluted apple cider vinegar rinse. Avoid contact with eyes.
Allow the shampoo bar to dry between uses to prolong the life of the bar.
Milk, Honey & Natural Oils
The formulation combines organic coconut milk and raw honey with free-range ostrich oil, egg yolk and natural oils. Castor oil contributes to the rich lather of the shampoo soap bar, while the botanical ingredients and essential oils form part of the formulation developed for dry and damaged hair.
